How My Passion Was Created

It all began when I was eight years old. I moved from the city to a rural area and saw horses in real life for the first time. I instantly quit my other extra circulars and pursued horse back riding lessons. I was completely obsessed with horses from then on.

Horses became my life. I connected with people fine, but it wasn’t like the connections I made with horses. They understood me. They saw my heart and soul. They wanted nothing more than a friend and leader. I needed that and it molded me into who I am today. However, all the credit for my passion and mission in life goes out to my mother. She saw my desire to connect with horses and fully supported me. She and her husband sacrificed so much to give me the ability to follow my passion. Her support uniquely shaped my life and heart.

In the years that followed, I studied English and Western riding, as well as, Carriage Driving. I learned about various disciplines in both styles. Hunter Jumper, Reining, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, to name a few. In addition to riding, I spent every spare moment studying equine diet, physiology, psychology, training methods and learned countless integral life lessons in the process.

It's my personal mission to teach these through the horse riding lesson experience and at the same time give them a peaceful space to have fun and relax!

Life is for learning; and while I am knowledgeable, I'm also still studying to become the best horsewoman I can be and pass along my findings.

What it’s all about

There is so much to learn from horses beyond riding and caring for them. I know I’ve said this before, but I believe deep in my soul that these core skills we attain through our horse back riding lessons are necessary. God put me here on a mission to build the world into a better one. I believe the way I teach riding lessons it encourages all around to practice true balance and fulfill my mission.

In addition to these added teachings, fun (and safety) is my number one priority. Life is too full of “the hustle and bustle”. More than anything else, a space to relax and be mindful is necessary. A full mind leads to stress, reduced confidence, anxiety and in severe instances; depression. It is imperative that we learn now how to balance life between having a full mind and being mindful before the resulting consequences overcome us. Providing a space to let go of life’s worries is my number one priority and ultimately what it’s all about.

On the back of a horse you will find paradise.
